The GoW 4 May Update brings two interesting offerings to the table: the creepy Zombie Carmine Pack, featuring the zombie versions of the The Carmine Brothers, as well as the chance to find the Locust Grenadier Elite early.

Sounds exciting? We’re sure many of you will rightfully cancel your weekend plans in order to get your hands on the Carmine Brothers and add the Locust Grenadier Elite to your collection.

The Gears of War 4 Zombie Carmine Pack

The poor trio of Carmines that died in previous Gears of War titles are back from the dead complete with their original injuries.

Anthony Carmine rises from the dead with his brutal headshot injury at the hands of a Locust Sniper. Benjamin Carmine returns complete with his missing lower torso. (Yes, you can really see all the details of that injury from the front and the rear. We’re sure that many gore fans will love it.)

As you all remember, Gary got killed following the DeeBee drop pods. He died instantly, with no pain involved.

The Zombie Carmine Gear Pack arrives May 12th for 2000 Credits, or  $4.99. This release also comes with the added option of the Zombie Carmine Mega Pack,  a 10 Card Gear Pack that offers a guaranteed Zombie Carmine character and less duplicates compared to opening two separate Gear Packs. The Mega Pack bundles begin at $9.99.

Zombies Dialogue changes

Speaking of zombies, The Coalition has already reduced the amount of “BRAAAAINS’ triggers when using a Zombie Character by half, and this is only the beginning. Next month, all Zombies Characters will use their standard character dialogue, including includes Zombie Anthony and Zombie Benjamin.

Fans will experience classic Carmine dialogue for these characters starting with the next update. “BRAAAAAINS” dialogue will be limited to when you land a headshot as a Zombie Character.
