Killer Instinct Season 3 is looking even better with the announcement of a new character: General RAAM from the Gears of War franchise. The announcement was recently made during Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference and from what we’ve seen, he looks great in action.

Microsoft wants to get players excited for both the game and this new character, which is why General RAAM will be free to play for the entire week via the Xbox One and Windows 10 computers. For those who are unaware, Killer Instinct Season 3 is available for Windows 10 via the Windows Store and can be downloaded and played right now.

Outside of this announcement, Microsoft kicked off its conference with the official showcase of the new, slimmer Xbox One S. The console is 40 percent smaller and comes with a 2TB hard drive. Furthermore, it supports the playback of 4K content — just not video games.
