I’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto since I was a little kid, and now I am imagining how awesome it would be to play it on my Windows 10, 8 tablet. Who knows, maybe Rockstar might do this as early as next year!

You can read the original report below.

If you go to the Windows Store now and start looking for GTA-related app or game, you will find so many spam and useless apps, such as cheat apps, NFO apps and many others. The single reliable app is the Grand Theft Auto RockStar Games app that we’re going to review shortly. This app brings a full version of the game to the Windows Store.

This is only an imagination exercise, but if I were Rockstar, I would start from the very beginning and bring more of the following games to the Windows Store:

  • Grand Theft Auto original game
  • 1999 Grand Theft Auto: London
  • Grand Theft Auto: London, 1961
  • Grand Theft Auto 2

GTA on my Windows 10, 8 tablet? Awesome!

These were the very first games that were released by Rockstar and marked the beginning of what fulminated with the Grand Theft Auto V game that broke all the records and cashed in $1, 000, 000, 000 in less than three days! I am sure that there will be many Windows 10, 8 users that will download the GTA games from the Windows Store the very minute after it will get released.

But it seems that it isn’t that easy to port an old game to a new platform, especially when it comes to Windows 10, 8 users. There are not too many users and Windows 7 is still reigning supreme, but in time, the number of Windows 10, 8 tablets will grow and thus, more and more games will make their way into the store. And, who knows, maybe one day Rockstar will release its very first official GTA games for hard-core fans like, even if it will be the very first version. Fingers crossed.
