Windows 8, 10 Voxofon App Gets Improvements in Last Version

Voxofon isn’t a Windows 8 app that is as popular as other instant messaging clients, but it’s good a pretty good number of users, nonetheless. Scroll below to read more about it and the latest update that it has received

Despite the fact that we have such tools as Skype or Whatsap, Hangouts and others, we still pay for voice calls and SMS, and this trend is likely to remain the same for the upcoming years. But there are VOIP apps such as Voxofon which help reduce the costs, but if you’ve been a user with them for a while, you know what I’m talking about already. The free international texting and calling Voxogon application was previous available for Windows Phone and other smartphones and now it has made its way into the Windows Store for Windows 8, 8.1, RT and RT 8.1

Voxofon for Windows 8 brings free international texting

Chat with the Voxofon users for free from any computer or a smartphone. Use low-cost SMS messaging to chat with your friends with regular mobile phones. Directly from the app, you can setup international calls between your phone and the destination abroad at great rates starting from 1 US cent per minute.

Voxofon, like many other similar apps and IM clients, comes with free app-to-app messaging, but what sets it apart from the rest is that it provides cheap SMS texting and international calls and it is also cross-platform. The latest version of the app comes with improved contact editing, so if you were having issues with this, they should now be taken care of.

You can setup cheap international calls directly from the Voxofon app and your destination abroad at cheap rates. Almost in all case, it will be even cheaper than what Skype currently offers. However, you need to be careful, because if you are traveling, then mobile operator roaming charges will apply. The app is free to download and comes with a size of less than one megabyte
