PCs are the most popular gaming hardware choice in the world thanks to excellent versatility and compatibility. Just name a game and you’ll be able to play it on PC.

Of course, there are many console exclusive titles out there, but PC gaming remains the main focus for both game developers and players.

Speaking of hardware, Intel recently unveiled its new line of 6-core Core i9 processors capable of supporting 5GHz speeds. We’re sure many console gamers will switch to PC in the near future pushed by the superior gaming performance offered by 6-core gaming laptops and computers.

Intel Core i9 speeds gaming laptops to 5GHz

The first models of 6-core gaming laptops, such as the Acer Nitro 5, have already been announced and are selling like hot cakes.

[…] the powerful 8th Gen Intel Core i9 processor is the highest-performance laptop processor Intel has ever built to deliver the best gaming and content creation experience on the go.

Intel revealed that these new generation laptops are built on the Coffee Lake architecture and 14nm++ process technology which enable them to deliver 41% more FPS  in gameplay.

As the PC gaming industry rapidly grows, Intel has seen increasing demand for incredibly fast laptops that can provide desktop-like performance for an immersive and responsive experience, including the ability to stream and record without compromising gameplay while still enabling portability.

If you’re a graphic designer, you can rely on Intel i9 processors to edit 4K videos up to 59% faster than on previous generation CPUs.

The new processors can increase clock frequency up to 200 MHz if the temperature is low enough, reaching a turbo frequency of around 5 GHz.

Intel Optane memory boosts PC responsiveness

Thanks to the new CPUs, Intel Optane memory is now available across all Intel i9 powered platforms. This technology  enhances the performance and responsiveness of SATA storage devices and doesn’t affect their storage capacity in any way.

So, taking into account all these performance improvements, are you planning to purchase an Intel i9-powered laptop in the near future? Let us know in the comments below.
