Amazon India and Microsoft have recently partnered creating an online store for the US tech giant. Microsoft India had already an online store selling software, but now Indian customers can also buy products such as Windows Phone devices, the Xbox and others from one place.
The online shop is still new, so it’s possible you don’t find what you’re looking for for the moment. There are six categories available to choose from: Microsoft Xbox, Windows Phone, Windows 8.1, Office, Laptops & Tablets and Accessories.  You can also get the latest news and have access to exclusive information – you have a News and Exclusive section for that – so that you make your buying decision after having analyzed all the information.

You also have a few interesting bundles such as the Xbox One ACU Bundle (for $730) and Xbox One FIFA Bundle (for $640). If you’re looking for a new Windows Phone device but you don’t want to pay too much money, you can get one of the deals available: the Lumia 1320, for instance, for $240 or the Lumia 625 available for $144.

The overall offer looks promising and every physical Microsoft product will definitely be distributed through this channel once the tech giant gets itself comfortable in Amazon’s India house. So, the online catalog is expected to grow in terms of offer.

Moreover, Microsoft says its store from Amazon India will host the best deals and exclusive launches. So, don’t forget to keep an eye on the offer and hunt the best deals.

Let’s see if this partnership has any influence on Microsoft’s global market share especially in terms of Windows Phone devices sales. In 2014, Nokia was the third Indian phone vendor, so could Amazon India make a difference for Windows Phone’s market share?
