There are just a few days before the big shopping event kickstarts, and Staples wants to make sure that you visits its store, as well. That’s why it is selling a pretty nice Windows 8.1 notebook for a price of just $99. Let’s have a look at its specs and features.
ASUS EeeBook X205 Notebook Windows 8.1 Staples
Staples will be selling the ASUS EeeBook X205  11.6-inch Windows 8.1 for just $99 this Black Friday. It is one of the hottest deals we’ve seen for the past few days, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for such a device. The regular price is $249, so you save a nice $150 from it.

The notebook weighs about 2lbs, comes with a decent battery life and specs, if we take into account the price at which it will sell. We don’t know how many of these units Staples will have in stock, so you need to make sure you get it first. Here are its main specs:

  • Processor – Intel Atom Z3735F 2MB Cache, 1.33GHz, up to 1.83GHz
  • Memory – 2GB System Memory (DDR3L)/ 32GB Flash
  • Connectivity – WiFi 802.11abgn + Bluetooth 4.0
  • Graphics – UMA Intel HD Graphics
  • Ports – 2x USB 2.0, 1x Micro HDMI port
  • Display – 11.6″ HD Display
  • Software – Windows 8.1 with Bing

The notebook also gets a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft OneDrive along with 15GB of perpetual storage plus 100GB for 2 years.

However, you need to take into account that the deal is available in store only and while supplies last. Also, there’s a limit of 1 per customer, so don’t think you could make a few bucks from reselling them in bulk.
