Windows 8, 10 Bing Apps Updated: News, Finance, Sports, Food & Drink, Health & Fitness, Travel and Weather
I don’t know about you, but I started relying more on the Bing search engine than Google thanks to its accuracy. That’s how I got to like the majority of Windows 8 built-in Bing apps. Now, they all have received updates.
If you automatic updates turned off, then if you will go right now in the Windows Store, then you will see that all the Bing apps from Windows 8 and Windows RT are waiting for you to update them. I’ve went through all of them, but could find a detailed changelog for neither of them.
All the Windows 8 Bing apps have been improved
Usually, when the Windows 8 team decides to release such an update, it most likely has to do with the backbone architecture of apps, rather than something specific for each one of them. However, the Bing Maps, which has seen an important update at the beginning of February, seems to move faster than before.
Also, the Bing News app for Windows 8 users has been improved to make sure users don’t get annoying crash errors when using it. Also, some users of the health and fitness app say that it now looks better on high-resolution screens. Besides this, the traditional bug fixes and performance improvements are probably among the changes.
