Catan Game for Windows 8, 10 Gets Big Update, Download Now

Catan is a cool Windows 8 strategy game and we have talked about it thoroughly a while ago. It has been recently updated and we covered the latest features that it brought. Now, the game has received some more improvements that you’ll find about below.

Catan is a fairly new Windows 8 game that you can download from the Windows Store (link at the end of the article), but it has already managed to acquire quite a follow-up in number of users. The game features the original “Settlers of Catan” rule set and what’s really cool about it is that there’s the multi-user game mode  that you can play on your Windows 8 tablet with a customized user interface.

Catan for Windows 8 gets improvements

According to the changelog on the game’s page in the Windows Store, here are the things that have been improved – startup issues on Surface 2 devices, issues related to fog hexes in scenarios 6 and up, updates for audio playback (AI commentary), updated UI for spy card (this card can now always be played as intended). Also, the developer said that a new update will soon be made available to further improve some gameplay aspects. Currently, the game doesn’t have a “brilliant” rating, and that’s why the game has been updated so many times. Let’s hope that the stability is now better and you will enjoy it even more.
