Amazing Holiday Deal: Buy this Windows 8.1 ASUS Notebook for Just $99
Since Microsoft has released the free Windows 8.1 with Bing operating system, a bunch of OEMs have rushed in to bring super cheap Windows tablets and laptops. One of the best holiday deals seems to be this $99 Asus Notebook, let’s have a look at more below.
We’re talking about the specific Asus X205TA-RHATMN01 model, which is currently on sale over at BestBuy for a price of $99, discounted from $180. This model has been on sale at Staples and other retailers this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and now it seems that the deal has extended to Best Buy, as well.
The laptop initially sold for $199, which also was a great price. At the moment though, only Best Buy seems to have this great price, as all the other big retailers are selling it for much more. And we’re not talking this time about some cheap Chinese company, but Asus, which has a reputation to protect.
The ASUS X205TA is an 11.6-inch notebook coming with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution that draws power from an Intel Atom quad-core processor fitted with 2GB of RAM. So, if you ask me, this is one helluva deal and you definitely shouldn’t miss it! Too bad they don’t have these awesome deals back here in Europe…
The laptop has a 32GB Flash Memory and a 2-cell lithium-ion battery 4850 mAh battery. It also comes with 2 high-speed USB 2.0 ports for fast digital data transfer and easy peripheral connectivity. The small laptop weighs only 2.1 lbs. and measures just 0.7″ thin, and features a chiclet-style keyboard, as well.
What’s really neat is that the deal even includes 2 years free of 100GB OneDrive storage, which will definitely help with your photos and important files. And this Windows 8.1 laptop doesn’t look bad either, as the Dark Blue color makes it feel really warm. For me, I am telling you, it’s a no brainer!
