Facebook something went wrong

Home » News » Facebook is down on March 13, 2019 but here’s a potential fix

If you try to log in to your Facebook account using your Windows computer, you will get an annoying error message informing you that something went wrong and the connect could not be established.

Some users can still access their Facebook accounts but they can’t use certain features, as this user reports:

Im not able to comment, like or post anything. Keep getting an error. I can message people though

Since most users are getting the ‘Something went wrong’ message, you can use the troubleshooting guide we compiled specifically for this error.

Basically, you need to

  1. Reload Facebook in your browser.
  2. Disable add-ons and extensions from your browser.
  3. Clear your browser cache and history.
  4. Reset your Facebook account.

Let us know if one of these solutions fixed the problem for you.
