Microsoft Madness

Microsoft is going all in with their basketball themed March. Following the theme of March Madness for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, Microsoft has a tournament of sorts titled “Microsoft Madness” that lets customers decide what type of deals they want.

Each day deals for products are pitted against each other and fans are allowed to vote for the one they would prefer. The winning deal is announced later in the week and will then be available for purchase. Today a $25 gift card with a Fitbit Charge is up against saving $20 on NBA 2K15 for Xbox One or Xbox 360. Other deals competing, though voting for some has already closed, include an AT&T Lumia 635 and case for $49 and a free wireless controller with the purchase of an Xbox One.

The promotion seems like a fun way to engage the fans and also for Microsoft to get feedback on the types of deals that customers want.  It’s open to US residents and runs through March 29th.
