L\u2019authentification par SMS et vocale de Microsoft Entra sera retir\u00e9e le 1er f\u00e9vrier 2027, Microsoft commen\u00e7ant \u00e0 orienter ses clients vers les cl\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e8s et d\u2019autres m\u00e9thodes de connexion r\u00e9sistantes \u00e0 l\u2019hame\u00e7onnage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 envoyer des courriels aux organisations Entra ID concern\u00e9es au sujet de ce changement \u00e0 venir, selon Neowin<\/a>. L\u2019entreprise avait pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment annonc\u00e9 le retrait de l\u2019authentification multifacteur par SMS et vocale dans Entra ID, mais elle contacte d\u00e9sormais directement les clients \u00e0 l\u2019approche de la date limite de migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft d\u00e9butera la transition en septembre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le processus de migration commencera le 1er<\/sup> septembre 2026. Entra ID activera automatiquement la prise en charge des cl\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e8s pour les utilisateurs qui d\u00e9pendent actuellement de l\u2019authentification par SMS ou vocale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les utilisateurs concern\u00e9s verront \u00e9galement appara\u00eetre des invites de connexion les encourageant \u00e0 enregistrer une cl\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e8s. Microsoft encourage de plus en plus ses clients \u00e0 adopter les cl\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 mesure que les attaques par mot de passe et d\u2019authentification deviennent plus sophistiqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les utilisateurs qui n\u2019auront pas configur\u00e9 une cl\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e8s ou une autre m\u00e9thode r\u00e9sistante \u00e0 l\u2019hame\u00e7onnage prise en charge avant le 1er<\/sup> f\u00e9vrier 2027 se verront imposer un blocage d\u2019inscription obligatoire lors de la connexion. Ils devront configurer une m\u00e9thode d\u2019authentification accept\u00e9e avant d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 leurs comptes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft affirme que l\u2019authentification par SMS pr\u00e9sente des risques de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft indique que les attaquants peuvent de plus en plus compromettre l\u2019authentification par SMS via des m\u00e9thodes telles que le SIM-swapping et l\u2019hame\u00e7onnage de type Adversary-in-the-Middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les cl\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e9vitent les codes d\u2019authentification temporaires et les mots de passe que les attaquants peuvent intercepter ou voler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les organisations qui doivent continuer \u00e0 utiliser l\u2019authentification t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique pour des raisons r\u00e9glementaires ou de conformit\u00e9 disposeront d\u2019une autre option. Microsoft leur permettra d\u2019utiliser des fournisseurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications g\u00e9r\u00e9s par le client, disponibles via le Microsoft Security Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les tarifs des fournisseurs seront disponibles le 18 septembre 2026, tandis que les organisations pourront commencer \u00e0 configurer les fournisseurs pris en charge \u00e0 partir du 30 octobre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
