Storm-1175 \u00e9tait auparavant associ\u00e9 aux campagnes rapides du ransomware Medusa. Le nouveau ransomware est \u00e9crit en <strong>C++<\/strong> et ajoute l\u2019extension <code>.encrypted<\/code> aux fichiers cibl\u00e9s. Il d\u00e9pose \u00e9galement une note de ran\u00e7on <code>!!!README_FIRST!!!.txt<\/code> dans les r\u00e9pertoires scann\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft n\u2019a pas confirm\u00e9 exactement comment Storm-1175 a obtenu l\u2019acc\u00e8s lors de cette campagne. Cependant, l\u2019entreprise pense que l\u2019acteur pourrait exploiter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cve.org\/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-18577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CVE-2026-18577<\/a>. Le groupe est connu pour passer rapidement de l\u2019acc\u00e8s initial au vol de donn\u00e9es et au d\u00e9ploiement du ransomware.
