Microsoft started offering a 60 day free trial for all those who want to try out its music service, Groove Music. The offer is a limited time offer, so if you want to test Groove Music out, you better hurry up and grab the dealQ
For now, Microsoft offers two subscription options for Groove Music. You can either pay a monthly subscription at $9.99 a month, or you can pay for a whole year upfront for $99.90. This offer only applies to a yearly subscription, basically netting you 12 months of the service for the price of 10.
Microsoft introduced Groove Music last year along with Windows 10, with the service featuring more than 40 million tracks from various artists and genres. Most recently, Microsoft made Groove Music fully Universal, so you’re now able to sync your music between all your Windows 10-powered devices. Microsoft also revamped the app for Xbox One users.
However, even if Microsoft puts a lot of effort in developing Groove Music as a major music distribution service, a lot of users still choose other services. Offering a two month trial of Groove Music is just another way to attract more users into springing for a subscription.
Tell us in the comments below: What do you think about this deal? If you’re already a Groove Music subscriber, share your impressions about the service. And if you have experienced crashes with the Groove Music app in Windows 10, here’s how to fix that; and here’s a fix for issues when the music would stop playing.
You can download the Groove Music app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, and subscribe to the service directly from the Windows Store.
