Xbox One users can now download free comics with the new IDW Comics app for the console. The new app brings the full catalog of IDW Comics to Xbox One.

The IDW Comics app is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, and Xbox One platforms. To mark the launch of the app on Xbox One, IDW Comics now lets you download 10 specific volumes at no charge. The free download lasts until April 7:

  • TMNT Vol. 1
  • Locke & Key Vol. 1
  • D4VE
  • Star Trek Vol.1
  • Ghostbusters Vol.1
  • Jem Vol. 1
  • Fear & Loathing
  • Transformers RiD Vol.1
  • Transformers MTMTE Vol. 1
  • Judge Dredd Vol. 1

Microsoft’s online store also offers a free selection of comics that are accessible via the app. To read comics, simply log in or sign up through the app then go to the “My Books” section.

IDW Comics is one of the most diverse collections in comics, including horror, movies, sci-fi, heroes, villains, action, adventure, classic comics and more. The app offers some of the big names from film, TV and games such as Transformers, My Little Pony, Judge Dredd, Skylanders, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla, Orphan Black, X-Files, Ghostbusters, Parker the Hunter, Locke & Key, and Zombies vs Robots.

IDW Comics also plans to start offering IDW owned TV episodes and movies in the future, as well as some exclusive content.
