Insteon to Release Soon its Windows 8, 10 Home Automation App
Microsoft is interested in developing the Windows Store with as much new awesome apps as possible, and for that, it’s looking to partner with Insteon on the release of a brand new home automation app
Insteon has recently announced that it’s going to launche a smart home control and monitoring app for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.1, which means we’re going to witness an universal app getting launched. Besides this, the company said there are going to be Insteon products on the Microsoft Store, as well. The app is said to launch on June 1 on the Windows Store, so we’ll make sure to give you the full report once this happens.

Insteon to release its own app for Windows 8 for home automation devices
Insteon’s upcoming app for Windows 8 users will come with some exclusive features, such as:
- Visitor Mode which will provide restricted access to children or guests in your home
- Live Tiles to see the status of your home across multiple Windows devices
- Enhanced Camera Support which will allow to view multiple cameras at once
- Multi-House Support –to be able to control more homes
- Dashboard View – the central location where to access your info
