Following a run of discounted albums recently via the Music Deals app for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1, Microsoft have announced that the sale will end for some items commencing December 16. New albums will no longer be available for $0.99 and $1.99, following the 16th many will begin to go up in price.

Among the items available for $0.99 are the latest releases from some of the artists who have helped to define the sound of 2014. These include tender crooner Sam Smith, hip hop merchant Iggy Azalea and Mary Lambert among others. In addition to this, albums from must have artists such as La Roux, Roots and Seether are available for $1.99. Included in this latter category is a number of festive mixes offering songs from the likes of James Brown and the Jackson 5 to help bring a little spirit into the coming holiday.

All deals mentioned can be picked up via the app and are encouraged to do so soon, time is of the essence!
