Windows 10 v1803 users can now download and install cumulative update KB4487017. This Patch Tuesday update focuses on security improvements and also fixes some Microsoft Access database issues.

You can download KB4487017 automatically via Windows Update. If you prefer to download the stand-alone update package, you can go to Microsoft’s Update Catalog website, enter the KB number and hit download.

But before you hit the download button, you should know that some users complained about install issues. So, if you can’t install this update, rest assured, you’re not the only one.

If you’re experiencing this error while automatically downloading the update, try to get the patch from the Update Catalog website.

Additionally, you can also run the built-in update troubleshooter. To launch it, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > select the update troubleshooter and hit Run the troubleshooter.check for udpates troubleshooter

If you still can’t install KB4487017, there is a third solution that you can use to fix the problem. Microsoft has already developed a dedicated tool that helps users to fix update errors. You can either run the automatic repair option or manually control the next troubleshooting steps.
