The Microsoft Surface Go 3, the company’s most affordable tablet released back in September, is set to receive a new black finish.

The information was leaked today from the source. As such, there have been a couple of marketing pictures circulating showing the new 10.5-inch tablet in its unique black finish. One of a kind in the Surface Go Series.

Variety

If you’re looking to buy a Microsoft Surface device, you’ll have to decide which one is the best option: the Surface Pro X, the Surface Pro X, the Surface Laptop 4, or the Surface Duo 2. They are all available in black.

However, at the moment, the Surface Go 3 is only available in the classic Platinum finish.

Based on the information gathered from the leak, the Surface Go 3 will start shipping in January. It’s impossible to tell right now whether the black Surface will be available on multiple configurations like the others in this line.

Specifications and pricing

The Surface Go comes in two configurations: one with an Intel Pentium Gold processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage, and a higher-end configuration with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. The starting price for the base model is $399; the higher-end configuration starts at $629.99.

The $100 model with an LTE modem can be added to the order for an extra charge. Microsoft’s keyboard cover and pen need to be purchased separately.
