Lenovo is an avid supporter of the Windows platform, having released a bunch of impressive Windows 8 laptops, tablets, and hybrid devices recently. And this trend is bound to continue once Windows 10 gets officially released, as well.
One of the newest devices to come from Lenovo is the 13-inch Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Windows. The device is similar with the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, featuring a 13.3 inch 2560×1440 screen, a quad core Intel Atom Z3745 processor at up to 1.86GHz, 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi, 15-hour battery life, and a 2.27lb weight.
There’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, as well. The tablet has a kickstand which can adapt to different angles and comes with four modes: Hold, Tilt, Stand and Hang.
The “Hold” one is to hold the tablet in hand, “Tilt” is when the tablet is placed at an angle for better media viewing and Stand is the normal standing mode, while ‘Hang’ allows you to hang the tablet on the wall. The tablet features a pretty elegant slimline keyboard accessory that includes a trackpad, in the true sense of the Lenovo tradition.
The new Lenovo Windows tablet has 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro HDMI, Micro USB and a 3.5 mm audio jack ad sports a massive 12,800 mAh battery that can offer up to 15 hours of battery life. The tablet delivers a dynamic sound experience with cinematic Dolby Audio surround sound with a 5W subwoofer and two 1.5W speakers from JBL along with a Wolfson Master Hi-Fi codec chip which optimizes audio processing for studio-quality noise reduction.
Lenovo said the following on its official blog:
“As we continue to expand and refine our popular line of YOGA tablets, we’re listening to customers to give them more of what they want – from new modes like Hang to screen size tooperating system. The Lenovo new YOGA 13-in Tablet 2 Windows tablet now gives users who seek more productivity options and a larger screen size the perfect option.”
