Ever wondered why the batteries of space robots allow them to function without recharging for days? And why our smartphones and tablets run out of battery exactly when we need them most? How could we improve our gadgets’ battery life? If you’ve been asking yourself the same questions, check out LG’s new Tab Book Duo that can offer up to 11 hours of  battery life.
LG’s New Tab Book Duo is made of a tablet and a keyboard. It’s really easy to connect the keyboard to the tablet thanks to the one-push system. However, the keyboard’s compatibility is not limited to the tablet, you can use it with other devices as well. This is a bonus for those who don’t like typing on a virtual keyboard for long periods of time.

The tablet weighs about 530 grams and with its keyboard attached, it weighs just 729 grams.  LG’s Tab Book Duo has a 10.1-inch display and is powered by Intel Quad-core CPU,and it also comes with  a USB 3.0 port  and a microHDMI port. The operating system used is Windows 8.1.

The tablet also has a kickstand that lets you put it in an upright position. And the key feature lies in the battery life. The tablet offers up to 11 hours of battery life and that on a single charge.

Tab Book Duo is available in two colors, white or black and the initial price tag is of $670.  However, this device has only been launched in Korea. When it is launched in other parts of the world, the price tag could drop a bit.

So far, this is all the information available on Tab Book Duo. LG has not revealed other details. The company has not even revealed the launch date for the USA or Europe, but we’ll keep you up to date as soon as we get new information.
