EaseUS Todo Backup
EaseUS Todo Backup is a utility that has had some rave reviews. This is also a software package that has multiple versions. It has a freeware, TodoBackup Home ($29.20) and Todo Backup Workstation ($39.20) version.
One novelty of EaseUS Todo Backup is its Smart Backup function that automatically backs up your desktop files, Documents folder and browser favorites. It also does scheduled differential backups every 30 minutes.
The software has an immense array of backup options. With it you can do system, Windows partition, file, sector-by-sector, incremental, scheduled, full and differential backups. Furthermore, it provides extra backup options for encryption, splitting, and compression that certainly come in handy.
Comodo BackUp is one of the most flexible backup software packages for Windows 10. The software enables its users to back up to their local or networked drives, DVD/CD, USB sticks, FTP or cloud storage. The freeware version provides you with 10 GB of cloud storage for about three months, but after that, there’s a $7.99 per month subscription.
Comodo includes options for setting up full drive image backups, but you’ll also need the Windows Automated Installation Kit to make the system backups. Furthermore, you can back up files, partitions, drives, and directories with full, incremental or differential backup types.
Another good thing about Comodo BackUp is its integration with Windows File Explorer. As it integrates with File Explorer, you can start the backup wizard from file and folder context menus. The CBU BackUp and Online BackUp options are both handy context menu shortcuts.
Pipemetrics Bvckup 2
Pipemetrics Bvckup 2 is a reliable, fast software package with a slick UI that has also had rave reviews. The program strives for simplicity, yet still bags numerous backup options and settings. It has a Personal and Pro version retailing at $19.95 and $39.95.
Backup speed is the best thing Pipemetrics Bvckup 2 has going for it. The software’s algorithm, otherwise Delta copying, checks parts of the original file against those of its current backup copy and only copies changed parts. In addition, it doesn’t compress the files or does any cloud backups. Consequently, the utility does the backups somewhat faster than most alternatives.
With this software, you can do real-time, scheduled and manual backups. It also enables you to copy both open and locked files with Shadow Copy. Overall, it’s a great tool for specific data backups; but for system backups, there are better alternatives.
Those are five of the best backup software packages for Windows 10. They’ll probably have all the tools and options you’ll need for backups.
