Madefire, the well-known comic book store, has upgraded its apps for Windows 10. You can now purchase, download, and read your favorite digital comic books from publishers such as DC Comics, IDW, Dark Horse and many others using your Windows 10 laptop. Experience your favorite superheroes Batman, Injustice, Hellboy, My Little Pony or the Transformers in a new way or branch out: Madefire’s catalog includes a wide selection of free comics, horror comics, Manga, kids comics, and many more, with its catalog growing by the week. Unfortunately, Marvel Comics is not yet on the menu.

Madefire Motion Books is a free app that offers the most spectacular reading experience for mobile devices taking storytelling to another level. The Madefire app is a free comic book reader that takes digital comics and cartoons a step further. Static images are replaced with the new format called Motion Books. Motion Books create an interactive experience with sound, motion and depth, something we could call 3D reading.

You can dive into new worlds, enjoy 360 panoramic views, music, and sound effects that will transport you deep into the story. And users love this:

I woke up this morning and found this app, really good way to start a day.

Madefire is optimized for Windows 10, and features Cortana integration, Continuum support, and live tiles.

Other features include:

  • Digital-first stories created to take full advantage of the power of Window’s devices – Not scanned-in print episodes.

  • With top publishers like DC Comics, IDW, Dark Horse, Top Cow joining the Motion Book library, your favorite classics as well as new day and date releases are available now and updated weekly.

  • All new characters and stories are available exclusively on Madefire with the download of the free app. What have been coined “myths of the 21st century”, these featured original titles from Madefire have been forged by comic book legends – including Dave Gibbons, Bill Sienkiewicz, Mike Carey and Liam Sharp.

You can download the app from the Microsoft Store.
