Microsoft has slashed 30% off the Band 2’s price tag, bringing it down to $174.99 from $249.99. This is an excellent piece of news for all the fitness lovers out there. The offer is valid till April 23, so if you’re planning to focus more on your health, think fast before the offer expires or the stock is depleted.

Microsoft has recently updated its Band 2 adding new useful features that allow you to better monitor your training and fitness progress. For example, the auto-pause feature enables Band 2 to pause your tracking session when it senses you’ve stopped. When you start again, the device detects motion and your session will automatically resume. Also you can now choose which notifications appear on your Band 2 so that you can go through your training without being distracted.

Back to our discount now. The discount applies to all three sizes of Band 2 but the large size band is no longer available on the Microsoft Store stock. The good news is that you can find all three sizes at Amazon for the same price tag.

Choosing the right band size for you is extremely important. If you don’t select the right size for your wrist, this will affect the reliability of readings and you won’t be able to rely on the device to check your progress. Here’s a quick list of Band 2 features:

Continuous heart rate monitor tracks heart rate, calorie burn, and sleep quality
Tracking for running, biking, golf, and more
Email, text, calendar, and call alerts on the go
11 sensors, including GPS, UV monitor, and barometer
Full-color curved display
Full charge in less than 1.5 hours
Works with Windows Phone, Android, and iPhone
48 hours of normal use; advanced functionality like GPS use will impact battery performance
Maximum operating altitude: -300m to +4877m
Operating temperature ranges from 14° to 104°F (-10° to 40°C).
