Microsoft ruffled feathers a few years ago when it announced the end of support for Windows 10 would happen on October 14, 2025. The Windows 10 ESU program would work comparable to the Windows 7 ESU program in that organizations could now purchase a yearly subscription to security updated for the older OS.
