Microsoft acquires pullpanda

Microsoft is working to take GitHub to the next level. Users can now create unlimited public repositories free of cost.

The company recently announced that Pull Panda is the next candidate to join its platform. The tech giant aims to use Pull Panda’s technology to improve the workflow of code-review on GitHub.

Microsoft announced the news in a blog post.

We’re excited to share some big news: we’ve acquired Pull Panda to help teams create more efficient and effective code review workflows on GitHub. Better code reviews mean better code for software teams of all sizes, whether you work in open source or on a Fortune 500 team.

How will this improve GitHub?

As far as the coding projects are concerned, Pull Panda helps users to manage the workflow of your teams. It basically offers three major features.

One, you can check for the efficiency and effectiveness of your team’s process with the help of Pull Analytics.

Whenever managers need to review the pull requests, you can use Pull Reminder to contact your managers by sending Slack notifications.

Finally, can ensure the proper distribution of code and tasks among the team via Pull Assigner.

Initially, users had to buy the paid subscription of Pull Panda at a price range of $14-$149 per month. However, now that GitHub has acquired Pull Panda, you can enjoy all the features completely free of cost via Pull Panda app.

The fee services are extremely beneficial for many developers working around the world.

The tech giant is looking forward to integrating the features of Pull Panda into GitHub. However, no ETA is available at the moment.
