A job post revealed Microsoft’s plans to launch a Mixed Reality MMO for the Xbox and PC.

Microsoft looking for senior design manager

The game will probably support the company’s new range of Mixed Reality headsets from the likes of HP and Acer. According to the job post, it will be a multiplayer game which may even support cross-platform play.

The post asks possible candidates if they love MMOs, if their passion is virtual reality, and if they would like every Xbox user to experience their design. Microsoft confesses that it will embark on a “bold charter” and that it needs all the possible help it can get.

Do you love MMOs? Are you excited about Virtual Reality? Would you like every Xbox user to experience your design every time they use it? We are embarking on a bold charter and need your help us take the next step. The Xbox Mixed Reality team is looking for an experienced senior design manager with deep expertise and passion around crafting immersive social systems and experiences. We’re looking to build a massively social gaming and entertainment experience for both the PC and the console.

Microsoft plans on building a massive social gaming experience for both PCs and the console. The company is offering candidates a great opportunity to join a fun team and to experiment with the latest technology. The future collaborator will work with state of the art tech and also craft the “future of entertainment”.

If this announcement is for a future game, we definitely can’t expect it to come out in the near future. Still, it’s clear that Microsoft is currently working on something both big and important, and the company seems more than ambitious about the new technologies on its platforms.
