Mixed reality
Mixed reality (MR), can be defined as the extension of the AR (augmented reality) that makes possible the interaction of the real and virtual elements in an environment.
It is used to merge the real world with the virtual one in order to create new visualizations and environments, where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real-time.
The technologies used for MR helps the user to interact with virtual elements, which can also interact with real ones or between them.
It is not a fully immersive experience because it maintains connections with the real world. Also, it is not yet well developed as virtual reality is.
