De uitfasering van Teams Live Chat is nu officieel, nu Microsoft heeft bevestigd dat de klantcommunicatiefunctie op 5 oktober 2026 stopt met werken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft zet de functie Live chat stop<\/a> ongeveer 18 maanden na de introductie. Het bedrijf zegt dat het zijn middelen wil richten op nieuwere tools voor klantcommunicatie en -betrokkenheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft heeft organisaties al op 6 augustus verhinderd om nieuwe Live chat-configuraties aan te maken. Bedrijven die de service momenteel gebruiken, moeten hun bestaande website-widgets v\u00f3\u00f3r de deadline in oktober verwijderen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alle Live chat-widgets die na 5 oktober ge\u00efnstalleerd blijven, worden automatisch verborgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams Live Chat verbond websitebezoekers met ondersteuningsteams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Live chat was inbegrepen bij Microsoft 365 Business Basic-, Business Standard- en Business Premium-abonnementen die Teams bevatten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bedrijven konden een chatwidget rechtstreeks aan hun websites toevoegen. Klanten konden de widget vervolgens gebruiken om contact op te nemen met medewerkers of ondersteuningsteams zonder de website te verlaten, terwijl agenten die gesprekken via Teams beheerden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De relatief korte levensduur betekent dat Microsoft de functie minder dan twee jaar nadat deze beschikbaar is gesteld, uitfaseert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bestaande Teams Live Chat-gegevens blijven beschikbaar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Zodra Microsoft Live chat op 5 oktober uitfaseert, zullen klantberichten Teams niet langer bereiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organisaties verliezen ook de ondersteuning voor nieuwe gesprekken, escalaties en andere klantinteracties die via de service worden afgehandeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft zal echter de Teams-kanalen die eerder voor Live chat zijn aangemaakt, niet verwijderen. Bedrijven behouden ook toegang tot klantinformatie die al via die gesprekken is opgeslagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De uitfasering heeft daarom alleen invloed op toekomstige activiteit, niet op historische Live chat-gegevens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft raadt Dynamics 365 en Copilot Studio aan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft verwijst organisaties die nog steeds websitegebaseerde klantenondersteuning nodig hebben naar Dynamics 365 Contact Center met Live Chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het bedrijf raadt ook Copilot Studio aan, dat AI-aangedreven mogelijkheden biedt voor klantbetrokkenheid en contactcenterscenario’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft breidt tegelijkertijd andere onderdelen van Teams uit. Facilitator AI zal binnenkort kunnen deelnemen aan Teams-kanaalvergaderingen, terwijl Teams ook Awards en certificeringen als badges<\/a> op gebruikersprofielkaarten zal weergeven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
