Microsoft kondigde de uitfasering van deze functie enkele jaren geleden aan en herinnerde Exchange-beheerders er in juli aan dat het in augustus 2026 zou beginnen met het uitschakelen van OWA Light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organisaties die de nieuwste Exchange Server-updates niet kunnen installeren, moeten OWA Light handmatig uitschakelen om potenti\u00eble beveiligingsrisico’s te verkleinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bekend hybrid Exchange-probleem blijft bestaan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
De release van augustus neemt ook een bekend probleem mee dat Microsoft voor het eerst in juni 2026 heeft gedocumenteerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Het treft Exchange Server Subscription Edition, Exchange Server 2019 en Exchange Server 2016 in bepaalde hybride configuraties met gedeelde postvakken die worden gehost in Exchange Online en postvakken die on-premises worden gehost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Het probleem kan optreden wanneer organisaties de machtigingen Send As of Send on Behalf gebruiken en tegelijkertijd MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled of MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled inschakelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In getroffen omgevingen kunnen berichten die namens of als een gedeeld postvak worden verzonden, ook in het postvak IN van het gedeelde postvak verschijnen. Exchange levert het oorspronkelijke bericht als bijlage in een afzonderlijk verpakkingsbericht af.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Microsoft is van plan het probleem in een toekomstige Exchange Server-release op te lossen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Updates voor Exchange 2016 en 2019 zijn beperkt beschikbaar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
De update voor Exchange Server Subscription Edition is beschikbaar voor alle klanten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Microsoft stelt de beveiligingsupdates voor Exchange Server 2019 en Exchange Server 2016 echter alleen priv\u00e9 beschikbaar aan klanten die zijn ingeschreven voor Period 2 van Extended Security Updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dekking via Period 2 ESU biedt beveiligingsupdates voor Exchange Server 2016 en 2019 tot en met oktober 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
