De hardware-omzet daalde ook met 13%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De daling in hardware vond plaats ondanks een opleving van de verkoop van de XBOX Series X en Series S in juni, toen de consoleverkopen naar verluidt met 86% stegen ten opzichte van de voorgaande maand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over het volledige boekjaar daalde de totale XBOX-omzet met 5% in vergelijking met het voorgaande jaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-microsoft-reports-stronger-companywide-growth\">Microsoft rapporteert sterkere bedrijfsbrede groei<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De daling van XBOX contrasteerde met de bredere financi\u00eble prestaties van Microsoft. Het bedrijf rapporteerde een totale omzet van $133,75 miljard, wat neerkomt op een stijging van 31,34% op jaarbasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft sloot het boekjaar ook af met een stijging van 27% in AI-inkomsten. Het bedrijf boekte een winst van $3,2 miljard in verband met zijn investering in Anthropic, de ontwikkelaar van de Claude AI-modellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze resultaten tonen aan dat cloudcomputing en kunstmatige intelligentie de groei van Microsoft blijven ondersteunen, terwijl de gamingdivisie te maken heeft met zwakkere verkopen en ingrijpende interne veranderingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-xbox-restructuring-continues\">Herstructurering van XBOX gaat door<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft is begonnen met een ingrijpende herstructurering van XBOX, nu de zorgen over de prestaties en de langetermijnkoers van de gamingdivisie toenemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De reset omvat naar verluidt 3.200 ontslagen, wijzigingen in de studio&#8217;s en herstructurering van het leiderschap.
