Als je je hebt afgevraagd waar Lenovo achter de schermen stilletjes aan heeft gewerkt, dan heb je misschien zojuist het antwoord gekregen via een nieuw lek dat is gedeeld door de mensen van Digital Citizen<\/a> en AndroidHeadlines<\/a>. De nieuwssites hebben naar eigen zeggen offici\u00eble persafbeeldingen van Lenovo\u2019s Googlebook 15 gedeeld, die overigens nog niet door Lenovo of Google is bevestigd of aangekondigd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenovo’s geruchte Googlebook 15 verschijnt op gedetailleerde renders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Voor degenen die het zich afvragen: Lenovo heeft de laptop niet aangekondigd, waardoor alle details voorlopig officieus zijn. Desondanks zijn de afbeeldingen en details behoorlijk interessant. De gelekte renders tonen een slanke 15-inch notebook met een gecentreerd toetsenbord en trackpad. Grote luidsprekerroosters zitten aan weerszijden van het toetsenbord. In tegenstelling tot Windows-laptops is de vertrouwde Windows-toets vervangen door een speciale Google-toets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een andere toetsenbordwijziging valt ook op. De traditionele Caps Lock-toets lijkt dienst te doen als snelkoppeling voor het starten van apps. Over software gesproken, de gelekte interface lijkt totaal niet op het Windows of ChromeOS van vandaag. In plaats daarvan lijkt het op Android, met een statusbalk bovenaan en een afgerond dock onderaan. De taakbalk op de afbeelding suggereert dat meerdere Google-apps zijn opgenomen, zoals Gemini, Gmail, Chrome, Google Calendar, YouTube, Google Photos, Google Play, Canva en Adobe Premiere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hardwaredetails blijven nog geheim<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De gelekte afbeeldingen onthullen ook een ruime keuze aan poorten. De laptop bevat naar verluidt twee USB-C-poorten, \u00e9\u00e9n USB-A-poort, HDMI en een 3,5mm-koptelefoonaansluiting. Een andere uitsparing herbergt mogelijk een microSD-kaartlezer. Het webcamgebied lijkt iets verhoogd en is voorzien van een fysieke privacysluiter. Dolby Atmos-branding is ook zichtbaar, terwijl het scharnier naar verluidt tot 157,5 graden opent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op dit moment zijn processor, RAM, opslag, batterijgrootte, schermresolutie en prijs nog onbekend. Dat gezegd hebbende, beide nieuwssites verwachten dat Lenovo de Googlebook 15 tijdens de IFA 2026 zal lanceren.
