OpenAI heeft stilletjes nog een wijziging bevestigd voor ChatGPT-gebruikers. De offici\u00eble DALL.E GPT heeft nu een pensioendatum. Gebruikers hebben nog maar een paar weken voordat deze permanent wordt uitgefaseerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OpenAI gaat DALL.E GPT uitfaseren, zegt dat ChatGPT Images de toekomst is<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volgens OpenAI wordt de offici\u00eble DALL.E GPT verwijderd uit ChatGPT op 30 augustus 2026<\/a>. Voor die tijd raadt het bedrijf aan om alle afbeeldingen te downloaden die gebruikers willen bewaren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze stap betekent niet dat het genereren van afbeeldingen verdwijnt. In plaats daarvan stuurt OpenAI gebruikers naar ChatGPT Images, dat de belangrijkste bestemming van het bedrijf is geworden voor het maken en bewerken van AI-gegenereerde afbeeldingen in ChatGPT. Wat bestaande projecten betreft, zegt OpenAI dat door gebruikers gemaakte GPT’s met afbeeldingsgeneratie ingeschakeld niet worden be\u00efnvloed door dit besluit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let op: de uitfasering geldt alleen voor de offici\u00eble DALL.E GPT gepubliceerd door OpenAI. De wijziging weerspiegelt de voortdurende inspanning van OpenAI om de ChatGPT-ervaring te vereenvoudigen. In plaats van aparte GPT’s voor vergelijkbare taken te onderhouden, heeft het bedrijf functies steeds meer rechtstreeks in ChatGPT zelf ge\u00efntegreerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dat gezegd hebbende, gebruikers die vaak vertrouwden op de afzonderlijke DALL.E GPT moeten belangrijke creaties back-uppen voordat de deadline aanbreekt. Na 30 augustus zijn die conversaties en gegenereerde afbeeldingen mogelijk niet langer toegankelijk via de uitgefaserede GPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
