Red Stripe Deals

Every Thursday a new set of Red Stripe deals appears on the Windows Store. Various apps and games go on sale each week and Microsoft often sends out a highlight of the biggest titles. This week features ‘iCalendar Importer,’ ‘Verbalize,’ ‘A World of Keflings,’ and more.

iCalendar Importer helps users of iCalendar use outlook and hotmail. Their apps description states that it “Overcomes the limitation of no iCalendar / ics import support in the native Windows 8 Mail [and] Calendar apps.” iCalendar helps alleviate some of the issues that stem from cross platform calendaring which can be a struggle, especially if one is tied into two different ecosystems. iCalendar usually costs $3.99 but is only $1.99 for the next six days as part of the red stripe deal.

World of Keflings

Verbalize allows users of ‘Feedly’ and ‘Pocket’ to listen to their favorite articles. Pocket and Feedly are popular ways to build up a personalized news feed but can build it faster than some can comfortably read. There are a few different apps that can read articles from your device but this weeks deal brings Verbalize to only $0.99.

A World of Keflings is a kingdom building game that allows you to “Play as your Xbox LIVE Avatar and harvest resources, assemble buildings and create thriving cities.” It also normally costs $3.99 but is on sale for $1.99.
