this is so frustrating!!! i’ve tried them all and still getting the errors. new computer and everything, told the same thing about my computer being too slow. even worse, there’s no one to “talk” to, they’ve gotten rid of the live agents!! have no idea what to do!!!
I hAve exactly the same proBlem, getting errors and proGram is too slow. Waiting 5 mins to saVe a file.
I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 10 and a core i5 processor. I was having The same issue with Silhouette crashing with same message of “quit without saving”. I couldn’t worK in silhouette No more that 1 minute before it would crash. After trying all the above suggestion and none of thEm working i went to the Silhouette websiTe aNd Downloaded the windows (32-bit) version instead of the 64 bit version. I have been working in silhouette now for over 2 hours and so Far no issues. HopE this helps someone.

this does not fix the problem. I have tried this three times, this is a brand new laptop.
My laptop is new also. I follow these instructions and get about 3 minutes til it happens again. This morning it was less than 1 minute. I want to enjoy this again.
I just upgraded and it STILL doesn’t work. I’m going to get my money back and get rid of this whole system if it can’t be fixed
I was running the software on a new laptop. I was told by software support that my processor wasn’t big enough. Not quite sure why they think that because it is 3.9GHz. I am currently back on my 11 year old Windows 7 laptop with a smaller processor and while it’s extremely slow because the laptop is so old, I’m not getting this error at all, ever. I have completed all of the suggested steps multiple times on the new laptop with no success. Clearly, this is a software issue that you need to fix. There are countless posts on Facebook silhouette owner groups of people having this issue.
Does not work. The longest I was able to run the program was maybe 5 min. Did 2 of the above suggestions. The 3rd was not needed, as this is a brand new laptop and the only thing that has been used on it.
This does not fix it, it only is a workaround. Gets you going again to it happens again. A permanent fix is what is needed.
My silhouette studio is running on a window 7 system. Everytime i turned it on, it gave me the same message, error, quit without saving. I have followed whats suggested on top with the hope of it getting fixed but problem still there. Is there other solution to this issue? Thanks
