Just a few days ago, Microsoft revealed the release of a new feature on Skype called “Skype for Content Creators“, which will soon be available for both Mac and Windows 10.
Specifically made with streamers in mind
This new mode is meant to help open up new ways for streamers, vloggers, broadcasters, etc, to make podcasts, record videos, live streams, and more. Usually to create this type of content users will need costly studio equipment or software. With Skype for Content Creators, users will find it much easier to record, make collaborative streams, and more.
It’s easier to customize and edit calls
If an user enables the Content Creators mode they will record and place calls through NewTekNDI software: Vmix, Split, and Wirecast. These feature will allow you to easily import your recorded calls into editing applications like Adobe Audition and Adobe Premier Pro.
The Content Creator mode even has some basic editing tools that users can use to personalize the feel of their call. This new mode will make it far more convenient for Skype users to not only capture their calls, but also to edit them. Individuals will no longer have to download/buy third party programs that allows them to capture their screen.
Collaborative streaming made convenient
In addition, creating collaborative content and live streaming it is made far easier with this mode. Within just a few steps you will be able to setup a live stream on any major platform.
