Official Sphero App is Now Available for Windows 8, 10, Download for Free

Those of you who own a Sphero robotic toy and also a Windows 8 device, can now go ahead and download the official app to control it via a Bluetooth connection. More about this below.

The official Sphero app is now available for a free download on the Windows Store for Windows 8 and RT users and it comes with all the right tools needed to have some fun with your tiny robotic toy. By using the app, you will be able to level up your Sphero’s speed, imporove your driving skills and unlock your Sphero’s brightness with millions of colors. Also, you can earn color upgrades, tricks, core reactor upgrades, and much more that you’ll discover inside the game. There are many other Sphero challenges and you will also receive important Sphero notifications and firmware updates by using the app.

Control your Sphero ball from your Windows 8 tablet with the official app

Orbotix has announced that this is an universal app, and it will be available for Windows Phone users, as well. Here’s what the Sphero maker has said on its official blog:
