The Star Wars bonanza has started as the much awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens is hitting theaters all over the world. But if you’re more of a person who likes to watch movies at home, you should know that you can already buy it on your Windows 10 device from the Windows Store.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens now in Windows Store

You can now pre-order Star Wars: The Force Awakens for a price of $14.95 for either the HD or the SD version. You will also have as bonus content the Star Wars: The Force Awakens “Legacy” Featurette. Here are all the supported devices on which you can watch the movie:

  • Xbox
  • Windows 10, Windows 8
  • Windows Phone 8

The current price actually represents  a savings of $5, which makes it for another good reason to get this super popular movie. Also, regarding your purchase rights, Microsoft reminds that when you buy a video, you can watch it now, or download the video to a compatible device and watch it later.

You should know that at the moment the official release date hasn’t been date, but it will most likely be a few weeks from now, taking into account that it has just started running in theathers.
