The long-awaited Windows 10 Event revealed Microsoft’s strategy for 2017 and offered fans a glimpse into the upcoming Windows 10 features. As expected, Microsoft didn’t neglect the hardware segment and introduced three new devices: the Surface Studio, Surface Dial and Surface Book i7.

Microsoft didn’t announce the Surface Pro 5 nor the elusive Surface Phone, much to the fans’ disappointment. Still, the devices introduced are indeed spectacular.

To put it simply, he Surface Book i7 is the ultimate laptop. As Microsoft explained at the Windows 10 Event, the device is the reflection of user demands. Gamers asked for more framerate while regular users asked for more battery life, and this is exactly what this device brings.

As a result, the Surface Book i7 was built with 30% more battery life, which means it can stay powered on for 16 hours. The secret behind this achievement? Microsoft simply equipped the device with more batteries.

For gamers, Surface Book i7 brings two times the graphical capability and supports one billion colors for a spectacular graphics experience to users. The device is equipped with a 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display and the Surface Pen is included as well in the package.

Microsoft also added a second fan and fully changed the device’s thermal design so that it could support the extra performance. In other words, there’s no need to worry about overheating issues.

You can already pre-order the Surface Book i7 and have the device delivered in November. The Surface Book i7 is the ultimate laptop and it can be all yours for a price tag ranging from $2,099 to $3,199.
