Microsoft just rolled out a firmware update to Surface Go devices. The update has been released to improve the system stability of your Surface Go.
The month of February has been great for Surface Go users as they received subsequent firmware updates. The first one was released on February 19 and the month ended with a second firmware update for Surface Go devices.
These updates are only accessible to those users who are running Windows 10 version 1809. That means you are not eligible for the latest firmware update if your Surface Go device is not updated to the specified version.
While, if you are running Windows 10 April 2018 Update or greater on your Surface Go devices, you must have already received a firmware update on February 19.
You have to keep in mind that you can not revert to the previous version once you have installed the firmware update.
Additionally, as mentioned earlier, Microsoft does not simultaneously release the updates for all the devices. These updates are released for different Surface Go devices in various stages.
