Surface Hub 2S release date

Microsoft announced the Surface Hub 2 almost a year ago and recently shared more details on the product line. Surface Hub 2X will hit the stores in a few months’ time.

Microsoft recently confirmed its plans to ship the 50-inch Surface Hub 2S in June. Additionally, just like the last Surface Hub lineup, the company is going to launch an 85-inch model.

You will pay a significant amount of $9,000 to purchase the 50-inch Surface Hub 2. However, the movable stand is available at an additional price of $1,499.

Surface Hub 2S features

Notably, these screens offer a resolution beyond 4K. Moving further, the device promises high-quality video chats on 4K cameras.

The Surface Hub 2S also clearly captures almost every voice in the room thanks to its high quality microphone system. You can work unplugged for many hours thanks to the $1,400 battery accessory. In this way, you can stay connected on the go.

The new Surface Hub 2S uses a digital whiteboard to collaborate with nearby Surface laptops.

A recent media demonstration proved that the Surface Hub 2S provides a better video chat experience compared to its predecessor.

Microsoft’s investment in screen technology is visible through the sharp and vibrant design of the Hub 2S.

All in all, the Surface Hub 2S beats many other collaborative displays currently available in the market. However, it is yet to be seen how it performs in the real-world environment on various hardware and software configurations.
