The main character in The Witcher video game series is set to star as a guest in the upcoming Soulcalibur VI fighting game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.

All three main entries in the The Witcher franchise have been praised by gamers and critics with the third game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, winning a variety of Game of the Year awards and selling almost 10 million copies. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its predecessor, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, have been received Xbox One X Enhanced updates and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been heavily promoted on Windows 10 and Xbox One and is an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

Soulcalibur VI is the latest in the long-running fight game series that has a tradition of including guest characters from other franchises. Previous guest characters include Yoda from Star Wars and Link from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda. Soulcalibur VI is slated for release sometime this year.
