Windows 10 is constantly being updated with new features, security updates, and bug fixes. Speaking of which, the next round of Windows updates for Insiders will bring a fix to the Timeline and Outlook bugs that have been plaguing users from some time.
Windows Timeline shows past activities again
For those of you that don’t know, Windows Timeline is a feature that has been with Windows 10 since 2018. The main purpose of this tool is to help you keep track of all the activities you were working on.
Timeline can track what documents and webpages you’ve been working on over the past weeks and months. It also organizes them into a collection of documents you can quickly open to pick up where you left off.
However, due to a bug, it was no longer being capable of showing you any of your past activities. The problem has now been fixed and Timeline should work as expected for Insiders.
Microsoft fixes Outlook search
As for Outlook, the search feature has been misbehaving for some time now. Every time you tried looking up keywords through the search function, no results would appear.
Given how Outlook is itself a personal information organizer, it goes without saying that the Search function was a crucial tool that could save you a lot of browsing time.
