Developer RedLynx hit the stage at this year’s E3 conference to announce its new game, Trials of the Blood Dragon. The game is a mash-up of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Trials, and is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PCs.
“Discover an epic single player experience, combining the top notch gameplay of Trials with the unique style and attitude of Blood Dragon. Take control of Rex Power Colt’s cybercommando kids as they drive, shoot, swing, tame and travel through different environments. Expect also hot competition with Ghost mode, Global Score and Leaderboards.”
The game’s retro theme brings us back to 2013’s Blood Dragon but still features a recognizable bike-on-platform puzzle mechanic like Trials Fusion.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is set 12 years after the events of Far Cry Blood Dragon and actually features a full storyline, with 30 missions across 7 different worlds. Players will also be able to drive some of Trials-characteristic vehicles, like Motorbike, MX, 8-wheel tank, Turbo Flip R/C, jetpack, or mine cart.
RedLynx presented the game at the E3 conference with an official trailer, based on a toy commercial from 80s. You can check out the trailer below:
Trials of the Blood Dragon is now available on the Xbox Store, on PlayStation 4, and on Windows PC through Steam and uPlay. You can purchase it for the price of $15.
