TripAdvisor Launches Universal App for Windows 10 [Download]
The official TripAdvisor app for Windows users has been available in the Windows Store for quite a while and now the universal app has been released for download, as well.
As many other apps on the Windows Store, the new TripAdvisor app seems to be a slightly more developed wrapper version of its website. This was achieved using Microsoft’s Project Westminster.

Microsoft tries all that it can in order to increase the adoption of the Windows Store, and this tool will enable website webmasters to port them into universal Windows 10 apps.
As you know, TripAdvisor is one of the most popular tools when it comes to searching for low airfare, cheap hotels restaurants and other things to do while you are travelling. Here’s how the description of the app sounds like:
Millions of traveller reviews, photos and maps from TripAdvisor. Book your best trip, every trip. With over 250 million reviews and opinions, from travellers all around the world, TripAdvisor makes it easy to find the lowest airfare, the best hotels, great restaurants and fun things to do, wherever you go. And booking options for hotels, restaurants and flights are just a tap away.
There are still many features that can be added to this app, but for now it does seem like a pretty good start for both platforms. If you are interested in using the app, go ahead and follow this link to download it from the Windows Store.
