Here’s the list of Fall Creators Update devices approved by Microsoft
Microsoft has been banking hard on the success of Windows 10 ever since its release, encouraging consumers to switch to the latest version of the OS instead of sticking with older iterations of the software.
The latest addition to Windows 10 is the Fall Creators Update, which brings about a lot of new features and exciting new toys for Windows users to play around with.
In need of a new device
As cool as some of these new features are, not everyone is going to be able to enjoy them at max capacity. Modern features require modern devices that can rise to the technical requirements demanded by the newest update.
As a result, some devices are better than others when it comes to running the Windows 10 version 1709 experience.
Microsoft provides a list of approved devices
Microsoft has its own ideas regarding what devices are most capable of running the Fall Creators Update, so for those interested in an upgrade, there is a list of 11 devices which would be perfect in combination with the latest Windows 10 build.
The cool thing about the list is that it doesn’t focus on a single brand but multiple.
Varied solutions from known brands
Microsoft has included products from multiple top-tier brands and manufacturers. There are a lot of options for those looking to upgrade their tech, which is an advantage for many people looking for pretty specific features in their devices or like to stick to a particular brand.
Here is the full list of devices recommended by Microsoft:
- Acer Spin 5
- Acer Predator 21
- ASUS Zenbook Flip S UX370
- Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower
- HP Omen 15
- HP Spectre x360 13’’
- Samsung Galaxy Book 10’’
- ASUS Transformer Mini T102HA
- Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1
- Dell XPS 13 2-in-1
- Lenovo Yoga 920
Plenty more fish in the sea
It’s important to note that while these devices have the Microsoft seal of approval, there are also many other solutions out there. Just because a device you have your eyes on doesn’t appear on this list doesn’t mean that it’s not a good pick, nor is Microsoft implying that.
However, for those who aren’t that tech savvy or just don’t want to bother hunting for a good device, the list is of much help because it pretty much gives said, users, a direct target and a direction in which to point their wallets.
The products on the list are pretty much compatible with any consumer, ranging from budget-concerned students to avid gamers or business people.
