The latest major Windows 11 update, known as KB5032190, was released last week bringing with it a host of fixes and improvements to the OS. The update was November’s installment of the monthly “Patch Tuesday” update. However, the cumulative update has also introduced some new issues, as users have reported.

Perhaps most notable among the new bugs some have encountered with this new update is the inability to install it at all. Some have reported getting stuck in an endless restart loop before getting the ‘Something didn’t go as planned. No need to worry – undoing changes’ message.

Those who have been able to install the update have reported issues with Virtual Desktop animations, such as slow transitions, image tearing and generally sluggish response.

Another widely-flagged bug with update KB5032190 is one involving disappearing taskbar icons. Users have reported shifting or disappearing taskbar icons, and icons opening the incorrect programs: clicking on the OneNote icon, for example, will open Word and so on. Microsoft is reportedly already working on these issues.
