Windows 8, 10 Game Catan Receives Update
The popular strategy game Catan is one of the latest important games to have hit the Windows Store lately. Derived after the popular board game with the same name, the game has already received its first update.
The official Catan game for Windows 8 users has been launched in the Windows Store only a few days ago, but it has already received its very first update detailed in the Windows Store’s release note. Many players have been reporting various bugs and annoyances with the game, which has resulted in a poor rating at the moment. The developer has rushed to release the early update exactly for that.

Popular Catan game gets Windows 8 update
The popular Catan expansions “Seafarers” and “Cities and Knights” are available as In-App purchases. The complete Seafarers expansion includes more than 10 additional scenarios with an extensive campaign. Become Harbormaster, discover new islands and extra game elements like ships, gold fields, treasures and pirates. Ahoy! The Cities and Knights expansion introduces various new gameplay mechanics that add even more variety to Catan. Invest new trade goods in city improvements to build one of the three metropolises of Catan – but beware of the barbarians attracted by Catan’s new wealth! You’ll need your best knights to fend them off! C&K contains a short campaign and 7 challenging maps.
According to the release note of the updated Catan game, there has been made a significant update to the localization detection. Also, the developer has fixed the IAP functionality that was affecting Windows RT tablets.
