Windows 8, 10 Zinio App Gets Important Improvements
The Windows 8 Zinio app is one of the best to use if you read magazines and newspapers on your Windows 8 tablet or desktop device. We have previously talked about how you could get 6 free magazines worth $50 and also covered an update. Now, Zinio has been improved once more.
Zinio has been consistently working on improving their Windows 8 app ever since it was launched in the Windows Store, which is a great thing. It shows that the developers care about us, Windows 8 users, and want to enjoy the best of their app. There are other apps to manage your magazine subscriptions, but this one is getting better with each improvement, so I applaud the team for that.
Zinio for Windows 8 now looks even better
Zinio is for people who love magazines. Choose from over 5,000 titles from around the world, including The Economist, New Scientist, Esquire, Rolling Stone, Maxim, National Geographic, Vogue, Elle and countless others. New and improved for Windows 8.1, the app now features pinch-to-zoom, snap view support, improved download/archive management and enhanced performance.
According to the changelog, the latest release of Zinio for Windows 8 in the Windows Store comes with the following fixes and updates- improvements to page rendering when zooming, zoom support for mouse (right-click/scroll wheel), the ability to sign-in directly from Home page, library sorting issue fixed. Besides this, the hHelp/FAQ section of the app has been updated with more helpful tips and the page loading times have been reduced. I’ve experienced myself this problem, so I’m very grateful that the team has fixed it.
